Pokémon Candy you should save for Generation 4

USER GUIDE | Submitted by JustBurrisAre you excited that Generation 2 is finally out?

I know I am, but now the grind begins… It’s time to start catching Generation 1 and 2 Pokémon like crazy and saving their candies for the future.

In Generation 3 only two baby Pokémon come out and no new evolutions are introduced, but the total Pokémon increases from 251 to 386. This means the spawn rate of Generation 1 and 2 Pokémon will dramatically decrease and make it harder to find them.

That’s where this guide gets interesting.

New baby Pokémon and evolutions in Generation 4

In Generation 4, there are 17 new evolutions and 5 baby Pokémon that are based off Generation 1 and 2. You’re probably sitting there going “Why in the word is he talking about Generation 4 when Generation 2 just dropped?”.

The reason that I’m saying this is once Generation 4 comes out there will be more Pokémon to catch, but that’s not really a good thing. The total Pokémon that are going to be in the game will have jumped from 386, Generation 1, 2 & 3, to 493.

Imagine you need to catch one more Magnemite/Magneton to evolve your Magneton to Magnezone. It’s going to get super frustrating when all you need is that last Magnemite/Magneton and all you can find is the other 491 Pokémon in the game.

It’s only going to get hard so why not make the grind easier and start now? Start saving your candies for all the Pokémon below before it gets even harder to find these.
