without much fuss, the 26th Nest Migration has occurred, changing the species that spawns at your local Nests! As usual, go out and explore what’s new. This migration has also been followed by a mobile notification for those who have the game installed.

You can find and report your local Nests at The Silph Road Nest Atlas.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but ChinChou was moved out of 10km eggs and down into 5km eggs. I noticed it last night when I was hatching and thought I’d share with the world.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Legendary Raids aren’t counting towards the successful raid completed medal?

    • Reagan Choi

That might be an old egg that you got before the update.

      • John Jorgensen

Nope. Received the egg yesterday and hatched it last night. I’ve been grinding hard while this bonus event is going on. Gained almost 750,000XP since it started on Monday.

Spinarak are now in 2k eggs like why

    • FullmetalFlam3

Yeah I have. I remember Niantic was originally going to have Legendary Raids as their own medal, but I haven’t seen that medal released. I’m kind of frustrated at that because if Niantic does end up releasing the Legendary Raid medal, it’s most likely going to have similar goals as the regular raid medal, which just means it’s going to take forever to complete the bloody thing. I just feel like they’re setting unrealistic goals here.

In my city, Hamburg, everybody goes apeshit about the legendary raids. I had participated in 22 Raids in tiers 1–4 before legendaries even came, and until now, I have fought in 63 legendary raids alone. Everybody wants legendaries! Completing legendary-raid medals should be far easier than completing those of normal raids.

    • Donald Dubrovic

Nope you hatched an old 10km egg, chinchou is still in the new ones 😉

      • Igglybuff!

Also hatched Chinchou from 5 km egg, which was obtained after changes in distance

  • Reagan Choi

The baby pokemon aren’t even available normally… (via spawns that is)

…why not just say “Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Treecko, Grovyle Sceptile, Torchic, ……, Marshadow can’t nest either” 😛

    • Biga173rd

I agree the 2K’s eggs have been super random I’ll get a baby mon here and there. But I mostly hatch gen 1

  • FullmetalFlam3

You need to update the list of Pokemon obtainable from 10km eggs, because the ones you’re showing here is no longer current.

  • AlphaOkami

Dammit, I didn’t catch enough Abras before the nest migration.

  • Igglybuff!

So Chinchou can’t nest now, too?

    • CrisFrancisco

I was just at a Chinchou nest yesterday in Laguna Beach, CA. They definitely nest.

*Note – I’ve caught Dratini, Pineco, Gligar, Mantine, Sudowoodo, Tangela, Skarmory, Snorlax, Unown, Tauros, Porygon and Stantler all in the wild. Did not have to hatch them
