New Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon Trailer released

Trainers,

a new Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon trailer has been released, detailing new features and content in the upcoming core Pokémon game. Although we don’t often cover news that are not directly Pokémon GO related, we decided to cover this as Ultra Sun and Moon (USUM) are shaping up to be one of the best installments in the Pokémon franchise.

The new trailer reveals that the following Legendary Pokémon will be obtainable in USUM, depending on which game version you have:

  • Ultra Sun – Ho-Oh, Raikou, Groudon, Latios, Dialga, Heatran, Reshiram, Tornadus, Xerneas
  • Ultra Moon – Lugia, Entei, Kyogre, Latias, Palkia, Regigigas, Zekrom, Thundurus, Yveltal

A new villain has been revealed, titled Team Rainbow Rocket! Team Rainbow Rocket leader is Giovanni and it’s members are Team leaders of previous games’ villainous organizations.

In addition, a new facility called Battle Agency is to be added. You can rent powerful Pokémon, Battle One on One, earn rare items and battle powerful characters. There seems to be a leveling mechanism associated with the Agency, allowing you to rent stronger Pokémon as you level up.

Island Scan is also getting improved, featuring more Pokémon that can appear during the Island Scan encounters. Confirmed Island Scan encounters: Charmander, Greninja, Grovyle

And last, but not least, this trailer showed that Totem Stickers will be available for collection, giving you a chance to get totem-sized Pokémon by collecting lots of stickers. Confirmed totem Pokemon: Gumshoos, Salazzle (Ultra Moon), Lurantis (Ultra Sun). Interesting: Totem Pokemon that should be available in theory: Gumshoos, Alolan Raticate, Wishiwashi (school form), Salazzle, Alolan Marowak, Lurantis, Vikavolt, Mimikyu, Kommo-o.

It’s good to know all villian teams from previous generations converge into Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

where you got the information that what legends are in which game?

    • Dávid Bartoš

oh I see it’s on pokemon page 😀 so excited, already pre-ordered! 😀

      • Higher_Ground

yeah, to make matters even better, it looks like a lot of them are grouped the same way they were in OR/AS.

Meaning I don’t have to go back and buy OR – or buy both UM/US. Just getting US would net me everything I was missing from OR 🙂 (Ho-oh, Groudon, Dialga)

oh that’s cool! 😀 actually, my first game was moon, so sadly I can’t trade any other Pokémon from any other game :/

Cool…Not exactly PO:GO related, though. There are a lot of PO:GO players who don’t know anything about Pokémon outside of GO, and they wouldn’t find this type of article interesting. What we need is a site like this, but dedicated to all things pokemon, where true fans of pokemon can talk about PO:GO, the “main series” games, Mystery Dungeon, the anime show, etc.

    • Austin Tang

That may take too much work as and PoGo Hub doesn’t really have enough info to do this anyways. They rarely do this also.

Without articles like this, how can we teach the PO:GO players who don’t know anything about Pokémon outside of GO the true meaning of Pokemon?

Hey gohub. Stop doing meta game. You are LATE telling us about the NEXT wave of ex passes that came out hours ago… Cmon now! @mod @everyone
