Trainers,
Niantic Support confirmed that a intermittent (occurring at irregular intervals) bug that was preventing some users from seeing PokéStops and Gyms is now fixed.
A number of Trainers has reported this issue with fear of being banned, but it seems it was a server side issue on Niantic’s end. Here’s the official Tweet:

Surprisingly, Niantic has also shared that they read and listen to community feedback, mostly through reddit’s /r/thesilphroad community. This is a nice departure from what we had before, as Niantic’s Support Twitter has been sharing info left and right.
