Update: We created a chart, visit NEW MAX CP CHART for new Max CP values.

As announced by Niantic this morning, a number of Pokémon CP values were changed. We decoded the latest GAME_MASTER file to see what was changed. It turns out, a number of BASE_STATS were changed.

The original post by Niantic highlights Alakazam, Gengar and Rhydon as Pokémon who will receive biggest updates, but our findings show different.

Here’s the initial result and you can check the diff for yourself here:

• All Base Stats were modified in some way
• We can’t confirm the CP formula changed in any way
• There were almost 400 changes to Pokémon Stats

Niantic is pairing this with the upcoming event and increased Stardust drops. We’ll be creating a page highlighting all stat changes soon.
