Pokemon GO related forums and sub reddits are on fire currently – Pokemon GO nests and spawns have changed a lot! This is happening as we’re writing this article, so come back later for a more comprehensive and in depth analysis of the changes!
PLEASE BE AWARE: This article is currently being LIVE UPDATED as new information comes in. This is especially important for the Nest change list – it’s not final. Once it’s final, we’ll note it in the article, however it is mostly confirmed.
Nest and Spawn changes confirmed by players
We are still trying to collect as much data as possible on the magnitude of the changes. However as of this writing, there are a few things confirmed by players:
- Spawn locations and times have changed
- No indication if it’s a buff on nerf at this point, still waiting for more data
- Times have been more randomised
- Locations are changed significantly
- Nests have migrated again
- Nest changes were HUGE this time, there are hardly any nests that are not changed
- A full list of nest changes is in the works, stay tuned
- A number of old spawn points was not removed
- It seems there are more added spawn points than there are removed
Pokemon GO Nests have migrated again
Even though we speculated the migration should occur two weeks ago, Nests have migrated today. We are working on the full list of migrations, but currently this is what we have (note, this is yet to be confirmed and verified, will update this article once it’s verified):
