You may notice that there is a running theme of the number ’49’ throughout this research. This is due to Galarian Yamask’s evolution mechanic in the main series games. Galarian Yamask evolves into Runerigus when the player travels under the stone bridge in Dusty Bowl, after Yamask has taken at least 49 HP in damage without fainting.
