0.211.0 APK Breakdown: New raid achievements, a new loading screen, and more!

Posted in

Hello Trainers! 0.211.0 is currently rolling out to a device near you, along with some text updates, and they bring with it a new loading screen, hints at raid achievements, a couple of new moves, some new badges and more!

You can check out the Pokéminers asset mega-thread on Reddit here, I’ll post a link to the in-depth APK report once it’s posted.  Go give them an upvote! You know the drill by now, everything in this article is datamined, and therefore subject to be changed or not even being released at all.

New Loading Screen

In the image, we can see Jigglypuff with a bass, Plusle, Minun Bidoof, Purrloin, Jumpluff, Lillipup alongside Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Zigzagoon, Loudred, Chatot, and of course Meloetta in the back.

New moves

.V0349_MOVE_FIERY_DANCE
.V0350_MOVE_FAIRY_WIND_FAST

Two new moves, Fiery Dance and Fairy Wind have been added.

  • Fairy Wind is a low damage fairy move, possibly a new fast move?
  • Fiery Dance is the signature move of Volcarona and the only Pokémon that can learn the move.
Volcarona DragonIce

Raid achievements

Raid Summary

RESOURCE ID: mvt_title

RESOURCE ID: mvt_featured
TEXT: Featured:

RESOURCE ID: mvt_go_to_summary
TEXT: Go to Summary

It appears that we are going to get a summary screen after raids that will award achievements to participants.

Achievements

UNSET_RAID_STAT
FINAL_STRIKE_PLAYER
DAMAGE_DEALT_PLAYER
REMOTE_DISTANCE_PLAYER
USE_MEGA_EVO_PLAYER
CUSTOMIZE_AVATAR_PLAYER
NUM_CHARGED_ATTACKS_PLAYER
SURVIVAL_DURATION_POKEMON
POKEMON_HEIGHT_POKEMON

It will be interesting if these are awarded for raids you solo or just ones that you do alongside other trainers.  There are a bunch, so let’s go through them all one by one and I’ll give some thoughts on the ones that aren’t obvious.

Hardest Hitter

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_damage_dealt_player_details
TEXT: Dealt {0} damage

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_damage_dealt_player_title
TEXT: Hardest Hitter

This is likely for the most damage done by a trainer in the raid

Style Savant

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_customize_avatar_player_details
TEXT: Dressed to impress

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_customize_avatar_player_title
TEXT: Style Savant

Best dressed?  Not sure how they’ll figure this one out, maybe most avatar items worn?

Final Strike

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_final_strike_player_details
TEXT: Delivered the final attack

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_final_strike_player_title
TEXT: Final Strike

This one’s fairly self-explanatory, given to whoever delivers the final blow to the raid boss.

The Big One

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_pokemon_height_player_details
TEXT: Brought the largest Pokémon into battle

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_pokemon_height_player_title
TEXT: The Big One

Given to whoever brings the largest Pokémon into the raid.  Not sure if this will be height, or weight, a combination of both?  Maybe the highest CP?

Raid Buddy

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_use_buddy_player_details
TEXT: Brought a Buddy Pokémon into battle

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_use_buddy_player_title
TEXT: Raid Buddy

Bring your buddy Pokémon into the raid.

Master of Mega Evolution

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_use_mega_evo_player_details
TEXT: Used a Mega-Evolved Pokémon in battle

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_use_mega_evo_player_title
TEXT: Master of Mega Evolution

End of Raid Stats

It’s possible that these are awarded only to the highest of the group, or they are shown to everyone.  It’s not entirely clear.

Walk Star

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_recent_walking_distance_player_details
TEXT: Walked {0} km yesterday before the raid

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_recent_walking_distance_player_title
TEXT: Walk Star

Shows how many kilometres you walked… yesterday?  Weird, but ok.

Traveler

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_remote_distance_player_details
TEXT: Joined from {0} km away

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_remote_distance_player_title
TEXT: Traveler

Shows how far away from the gym you are, interesting for remote raids from across the world.

Stamina Specialist

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_survival_duration_player_details
TEXT: Battled for {0} seconds

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_survival_duration_player_title
TEXT: Stamina Specialist

Shows how many seconds you battled.  This should be the same as how the raid lasted?  Maybe minus whatever time you spend re-entering?

Charged and Ready

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_num_charged_attacks_player_details
TEXT: Performed {0} Charged Attacks

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_num_charged_attacks_player_title
TEXT: Charged and Ready

Likely the most charged moves, with the bonus of telling you how many that was.

Flush with Friends

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_num_friends_in_raid_player_details
TEXT: Battled with {0} friends in the raid

RESOURCE ID: mvt_stat_num_friends_in_raid_player_title
TEXT: Flush with Friends

Shows how many friends you battled with.

A New Badge – Raid Expert

Are we getting planets in the sky in Pokémon Go?

Parting Words

I am more than excited about the raid achievements.  It will add a much-needed extra dimension and some depth to raids that are long overdue.  I suspect that those trainers out there who duo raids often are very excited for the Hardest Hitter achievement, as many of you probably are.   Bragging rights are up for grabs, and I am very excited!

What do you all think of this pending new feature?  Let us know in the comments!

As always Stay safe out there trainers.
