Niantic has confirmed that a Legendary Raid Hour is happening today, October 23rd, at 6-7 p.m. in your local time zone. This Legendary Hour features Darkrai, who can be easily countered by using Fighting and Fairy type Pokemon.
Darkrai Raid Hour follows after a series of Altered Giratina Raid Hours, making for a nice refreshment in the recent Legendary Raid Hour schedule. Darkrai is one of the best Dark types in Pokemon GO (check Darkrai in the Meta Game article by Kratos) and we expect an excellent turnout during this Raid Hour.
As previously announced, there will be another October Raid Hour featuring Darkrai:
- October 23 & 30, 2019: Darkrai
Darkrai is quite difficult to catch, with frequent left and right movement. We advise our readers to participate in both Darkrai Raid Hours in October and to catch as many as possible. Don’t forget that the Pokémon GO Halloween 2019 event is still active and doubles the Candy gained from catching Pokemon. A Silver Pinap Berry catch will grant you 12 Darkrai Candy.
