Shiny Mareep, Flaffy and Ampharos models were found in the network traffic by Chrales, a network analyst, reverse engineer and a PoGO Dev discord member!
Although this announcement is overshadowed by Chrales’ enigmatic message that he’ll release something big tomorrow, here are the new models in question:
We’ve recently talked about Ampharos and Dragon Pulse, and the conclusion is that Ampharos with Dragon Pulse will probably be a collector’s trophy rather than a viable Pokémon in the current metagame.
With that in mind, try to get a lot of shiny Mareep, we’re expecting a special Field Research quest to be available also, as found in the network traffic:

Rewards are not yet known, but it could be something interesting if Niantic decides to sprinkle some additional flare on the upcoming community day.
