We’ve all known and used Solar Beam, but the whole Sceptile situation has proven how Leaf Blade can turn a relatively meh Pokémon into a DPS beast. With 70 damage and 33 ENG cost, it cycles much better than other two bar moves and deals damage more reliably.

It feels like Venusaur with LB could outperform even Exeggutor with SB! Thoughts and opinions are welcomed.

Venusaur cannot learn Leaf Blade in the main series games, that is my only personal concern. It would be powerful but based on how PoGo gives moves to Pokémon I wouldn’t expect it. I’m predicting power whip which would be similar to last event with Outrage/Draco Meteor.

They could give Venusaur Fury Cutter as a charged move to power the Solar Beam quicker. What do you think?

No absolutely not

How about Giving Precipice blades to venusaur..? With a Dps of 76 , the precipice blades can deal some damage..Okay ,its not in the game’s file ..okay its not a grass type move rather a ground type..But If it is included in game..No matter it stands high when compared to other moves

PS: My own opinion 😏☝😌

They could also give Venasaur Petal Dance. It’s an easy to implement, strong move that isn’t really talked about much.

I think the move should be “FRENZYPLANT”.One of the best moveset in the games and in the anime also.It will also look cool and will make venasaur more strong than ever..

I don’t think so because Venusaur’s max cp is very low compared to other grass attackers and can not be a good grass attacker compared to something like sceptile or exeggutor

It can’t be Leaf Blade since Venusaur can’t learn it in the main series. Pikachu can learn Surf, and Dragonite can learn Draco Meteor. Venusaur could end up with Power Whip, Grass Knot, Energy Ball, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Outrage (yes Venusaur can learn Outrage now in gen7), or Giga Drain (which IS in the code)

I think Fenzy Plant is exclusive move for Venasaur. So excited about Shiny form of Bullbasaur.

Leaf Blade Venusaur will be an extremely powerful addition to the meta however, Venusaur can’t learn the move in the main series games. I’m personally predicting power whip for Venusaur which will be powerful as well.
