Welcome to the new Pokémon GO Season, the Shared Skies season! Shared Skies Season runs from June 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. During the Season of Shared Skies, Mega Rayquaza returns, accompanied with Ultra Beasts, Kanto legendary birds, and a number of other flying-themed Pokémon.

Season-long bonuses 🎁
The following bonuses are specific to Shared Skies:
- One additional Special Trade per day.
- Trainers level 31 and above will have a higher chance to receive Candy XL from exploring with their buddy.
- Increased XP for the first catch of the day.

Free Monthly Timed Research
During each month of Pokémon GO: Shared Skies, Trainers will receive free monthly Timed Research! Be sure to regularly check the in-game Events tab for details.
Necrozma Debuts
Necrozma, the Prism Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2024.
Encounter Necrozma in five-star raids starting with the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events, and take on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma in five-star raids during the global event.
Pokémon Fusion Comes to Pokémon GO
Certain Pokémon, like the Prism Pokémon Necrozma, have been observed to combine with other Pokémon in a phenomenon known as “fusion.”
During Pokémon GO Fest 2024, Trainers will be able to join Raid Battles against Dusk Mane
Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma to collect Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy respectively. These energies can then be used to perform fusion for the first time in Pokémon GO!
Solar Fusion Energy can be used to fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo to create Dusk Mane Necrozma, while Lunar Fusion Energy can be used to fuse Necrozma with Lunala to create Dawn Wings Necrozma.
Marshadow Debuts
Marshadow
After its appearances in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City, the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow will make its global Pokémon GO debut on the first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global.
Ticket-holding Trainers will be able to complete exclusive Special Research to learn more about the Gloomdweller Pokémon…and have an opportunity to encounter it!

Some of the Pokémon featured during the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events will also be appearing during three separate global events!
PokéStop Showcases
PokéStop Showcases throughout Pokémon GO: Shared Skies will be held from Saturday to Sunday as well as from Monday to Tuesday. Log in weekly to find out which Pokémon you can show off!

**Starting with Pokémon GO Fest 2024, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny Jangmo-o for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!
A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks
During the Season of Shared Skies, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
