Trainers, Behold the power of Pokémon fusion! Thanks to this wondrous new power, Necrozma, the Prism Pokémon, can take on awesome alternate forms in Pokémon GO! The powerful Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma come into being by fusing Necrozma with the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon, or Lunala, the Moone Pokémon, which Trainers can do for the first time at Pokémon GO Fest 2024.

Pokémon Debuts
Necrozma
Necrozma (*), the Prism Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO in raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2024. Also starting during GO Fest 2024, you can fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala to get Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma!
Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma cannot be traded, transferred to the Professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.
(*) If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!
Pokémon Fusion
Form a new light with the power of Pokémon fusion! Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma have descended into Pokémon GO!
Pokémon fusion is the ability to combine certain Pokémon into a single, more powerful form with an altered appearance. So far, this phenomenon has only been observed and documented with Necrozma, and it seems that the newly discovered Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy are key to taking advantage of fusion.
Fusing Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunala
With enough Fusion Energy, Necrozma can be fused with either Solgaleo to become Dusk Mane Necrozma or Lunala to become Dawn Wings Necrozma.
- Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo using 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.
- Trainers can fuse Necrozma and Lunala using 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Necrozma Candy, and 30 Cosmog Candy.
Fused Necrozma will remain in this form until their Trainer separates them. Separating will not cost any Fusion Energy or Pokémon Candy.

Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy
- Solar Fusion Energy and Lunar Fusion Energy are very rare sources of power that can fuse Necrozma into more formidable forms.
- Trainers can obtain early access to either Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy via branching Special Research at the in-person Pokémon GO Fest events in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City.
- Starting with Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global, Trainers will be able to earn Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy by defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma in Raid Battles or by completing ticketed research tasks.
Pokémon GO Fest 2024
Encounter Necrozma in five-star raids starting with the in person Pokémon GO Fest 2024 events, and take on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma in five-star
raids during the global event.
Trainers without an active ticket for Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Sendai, Madrid, or New York City can participate in Necrozma raids, but they won’t be able to encounter a Shiny one until Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Global.
After fusing Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will have the location card associated with the fused Necrozma.
