With the launch of the brand new AR mode that allows us to take photographs with up to 3 Pokémon at once, of course the theme for June had to be group photos! Our amazing AR community has already shown how creative they can be with this new mode, so I was incredibly excited to see what was submitted. The new AR mode seems to have really revitalised the community, as well as bring new people to it!

‘Eon Duo,specially latios is probably my most favourite legendary pokemon after dialga. I was always fascinated by it’s design. Although in competitive pokemon games latios was once a very good mon to go with,it’s kind of a lackluster in the Pokemon Go. It’s not bad but there are way better options. Still I love my hundo latios(the one in the photo) with all my heart. I take AR+ shots of it whenever I get the chance.’

‘Glory the Virizion, Hornet the Bisharp, and Belinda the Gengar have been fighting side by side for a very long time. These three are very special individuals to me, and although you can’t see them from this angle, all three of them have Best Buddy ribbons! It’s such an incredible feeling getting to see these three whom I love very much go out together and fight as a team, and even win some! I’m not super competitive, but being able to win with my favorites brings me no small amount of joy. Glory comes out swinging, with horns slashing twin Leaf Blades and Sacred Swords at anything in her way. She’s a dependable one- able to use that legendary defense of hers to take blows that would destroy her teammates. Then Hornet and Belinda cover what she can’t, taking down behemoths such as Giratina, Togekiss, and Venusaur. Together they make an incredible team! In the photo, my girls look towards the setting sun, ready for whatever comes their way. They’re always up to the next challenge!’

‘Knowledge about Pokemon is essential. It can teach trainers how to push the capabilities of their partners and aid on the ecosystem preservation. As being such unique creatures, there are many facts already registered in Pokedex, but Gengar origin’s as Clefable’s shadow is still a mystery. In this experiment, a shape comparison between the two pokemon is proposed. A photo was taken from 7 meters away and the areas occupied by both entities were compared.
An agreement of 83,7 % was achieved, leading to the agreement of the theory. Keywords: Gengar; Clefable; Photo; Shadow; Origin.’

‘I had an idea of how I wanted to get this photo to work, with the floating Pikachu peeking through Comfey, and it took some major planning! I needed Comfey on a much higher surface than Pikachu as it spawns really close to the floor, and after some planning, I was so happy to be able to make it work.’
