You can now publish your own guide (and get paid) on GO Hub!

Trainers,

for the past few weeks, we’ve been hard at work to enable User Submitted Guides on GO Hub. We are happy to announce that starting today, you can use this page to submit your guide and get published on the Hub! 🙂

The user submited guides are not just for fame and glory: we’re offering 20$ gift cards for every 5 good guides! The compensation will be in a form of gift card (Google Play or iTunes), distributed at the beginning of each month and it requires you to use the same e-mail address every time you submit a guide.

So, what can you write about? Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sun and Moon, of course! There are a few rules for guides:

  • You are free to write about anything Pokémon GO / Sun and Moon related, although we do suggest a few types of guides:
    • Gym attacking team and how to use it
    • Egg hatching tips
    • Leveling tips
    • Easter eggs
    • Hidden mechanics
  • Please make sure that your guides are around 350-450 words long. This makes it easier for readers to absorb and understand your ideas. Short guides (less than 200 words) won’t be considered.

And that’s it when it comes to rules.

How do we feel about this move?

All in all, we are very excited to see how this experiment will turn out. Our primary goal is to reduce the stress on our Facebook inbox and improve the communication with our community. We hope you’ll like it and use this new feature, converting 2017 to a year of User Generated content on the Hub.

We are not to keen on offering monetary compensation, but we are aware that there is a number of players who have income problems. Our hope is that this feature will enable them to earn a bit of pocket cash to spend in game and enjoy it longer.

Enjoy, write a lot and don’t forget to use the same e-mail when you submit a guide! 🙂
