The new Pokémon GO Season is called World of Wonders, and it runs from March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to June 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Season-long bonuses 🎁

The following bonuses are specific to World of Wonders.

  • Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
  • One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
  • Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids

Throughout Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, you’ll be able to adventure and bond with the Ultra Beast Poipole (code-named UB Adhesive), which has come from a distant place to our world. Let’s learn about this wonderful wanderer from Ultra Space!

World of Wonders Special Research

  • Available to claim from Friday, March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time
  • New parts of the Special Research will unlock over the course of the Season, so make sure to keep an eye on your Research tab!

Paldean Pokémon debuts

  • More Pokémon originally discovered in the Paldea region, featured in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games for Nintendo Switch, have been spotted in Pokémon GO!

Shadow Pokémon debuts

Watch out for Shadow Raids during World of Wonders!

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted.

Also, Shadow Raikou, Shadow Entei, and Shadow Suicune will leap into five-star Shadow Raids throughout World of Wonders! For the first time in Pokémon GO, you may even encounter Shiny ones—if you’re lucky!

The Wonder Ticket

More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.

A note on Seasonal Field Research tasks

Professor WillowDuring the Season of Timeless Travels, most Field Research tasks will be available during the entire Season, instead of changing every month. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. Field Research available during in-game events will replace some of these Field Research tasks.
