An Instinctive Hero is a Pokémon GO event that features Team Instinct Leader Spark, Elekid, and Larvesta. It runs from Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00am, to Monday, May 8, 2023 at 8:00pm local time.
Trainers, after successfully helping Blanche, it seems that now Spark needs our assistance! His partner Pokémon is Elekid, so this event is all about eggs and hatching Pokémon. This event also brings with it the debut of a real fan favourite Pokémon family, Larvesta and Volcarona, and the debut of shiny Mantyke!

Larvesta and Volcarona debut
Larvesta and Volcarona will make their Pokémon GO debut! It takes 400 candies to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona. Both Larvesta and Volcarona are Bug and Fire-type Pokémon, which makes them quite unique in the world of Pokémon.
Volcarona has been a long time favourite of ours, so we look forward to this event. With a max Combat Power of 4106, and quite an insane move pool, it is positioning itself to be a beast in the meta.
