Mega Manectric is a pure Electric type Mega Pokémon, and its counters include strong Ground types.

Under ideal conditions, such as Sunny weather and high-level counters, it is quite possible to duo Mega Manectric. However, in order to ensure a successful raid, 3-5 trainers are recommended.

This article will help you equip the right counters to beat Mega Manectric and add this electrifying Pokémon to your mega evolution roster. With that being said, let’s get into the guide!

How to get Mega Manectric

You cannot catch Manectric in its mega evolved form from the raid. The mega raid boss is always catchable in its base form, and as such, the CP ranges are for a regular Manectric.

Manectric can be caught with the following CP values:

  • 1134 – 1337 CP at level 20, no weather boost
  • 1417 – 1672 CP at level 25 with Rainy weather boost

In order to get Mega Manectric, you will need 200 Mega Energy for the initial evolution. If you wait for their ‘cooldown’ period to end, Mega Evolution is free. This cooldown period is shorter the higher mega level your Mega Pokémon is. Mega Energy can be obtained via Mega Manectric Raids, and once you have evolved Mega Manectric, you can earn 5 Mega Energy per candy while walking it as your buddy. You can walk any Elektrike or Manectric to earn Mega Energy, as long as you have previously evolved one to register it to your Mega Pokédex.
