Shiny Solosis and Duosion

If you’re lucky, you may encounter shiny Solosis and evolve it into shiny Duosion or Reuniclus!

It’s a very difficult shiny to spot, so keep an eye out for that sparkle animation.

Normal Sprite Shiny Sprite
Solosis A small, round Pokémon resembling a green, translucent cell. Solosis has a light green outer membrane with a paler, jelly-like core inside. Its inner body includes a simple face with closed, black oval eyes and a small pink mouth. A single, curled tuft of hair sits atop its head. The overall appearance is cute and minimalistic, evoking the look of an amoeba or single-celled organism. A small, round Pokémon encased in a translucent, pale yellowish membrane. Inside, its jelly-like body is a more vivid blue-green colour compared to the standard form. Its black oval eyes are closed, and it has a tiny pink mouth and a curled hair tuft atop its head. The shiny form is subtly distinct with cooler, bluish tones.
Duosion A round, split-bodied Pokémon with two brain-like sections fused inside a thick, green gel-like membrane. It has two small arms extending outward, each tipped with a three-fingered hand. Its face is central between the two inner lobes, with wide eyes and a small pink mouth. The inner body is pale green, resembling soft tissue suspended in gel. Visually similar to the standard form but with a distinctly more blue-tinged, yellowish outer membrane. The inner body is a cool teal rather than pale green, creating a noticeable contrast. The arms and facial features remain the same, but the overall hue is cooler and more vibrant.
Reuniclus A fully developed, cell-like Pokémon with a thick, light green gelatinous body. Its inner form has a large head with wide eyes, a smiling mouth, and two stubby ears or tufts. Four limbs are suspended in the surrounding gel, with visible arms ending in large, hand-like structures with fingers. The entire body has a floating, embryonic appearance, as if suspended in fluid. This version has a paler, more golden-tinged gel surrounding its inner body, which itself is a more bluish green than the regular form. The contrast between the inner and outer parts is stronger, giving the shiny form a cooler, more ethereal look. All other features remain unchanged, maintaining its floating, cell-like aesthetic.

Mega Pokémon that boost Solosis Pokemon Encounter icon

Trainers who plan to participate should be prepared with a Mega Pokémon to maximise candy gains per Pokémon caught. Here’s everything you need to know! If you want further information about Spotlight Hours, check out our comprehensive guide.

The following Pokémon will grant you extra bonuses when catching Solosis if they are Mega-evolved.

Mega Catch Bonus

While a Pokémon is Mega-Evolved, additional XP and Candy are granted when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it, or for any raid boss caught. These do not stack with each other. Additionally, High and Max Level Mega-Evolved Pokémon grant an increased chance to obtain Candy XL when catching a Pokémon that shares a type with it.

Is it worth evolving Solosis? General icon

PVE

Reuniclus has an incredible Stamina stat, terrible Defense, and average Attack. All that doesn’t matter when you’re competing in a meta filled with hard-hitting Pokémon. 🫢

Basically, the entire Reuniclus is entirely in shambles when it comes to PvE usage. Just ditch it. 🚮

⚔️ Raids

Reuniclus’ Psychic-type moveset is so bad, it feels like this Pokémon doesn’t even try to do damage. 🫠

🛡️ Gyms

242 Stamina stat could have been Reuniclus’ saving grace, but its pathetic 148 Defense stat dilutes its overall bulk, making it a disappointing gym defender. Alas! 😟

.

PVP

super-slow moveset and low bulk render Reuniclus useless for PvP matches. Just like in PvE, the Reuniclus family is a terrible set of Pokémon for PvP as well. So yeah, ditch it again. 🚮
