Festival of Colors Event (2022)

Festival of Colors is a brand-new worldwide Pokémon GO event  that takes place from March 15, 2022 to March 20, 2022.

Oricorio, the Dancing Pokémon, is making its Pokémon GO debut during the Festival of Colors. Oricorio is a new region exclusive Pokémon, with each of the four Oricorio styles spawning in a different part of the world.

Although Festival of Colors 2022 is a Global Event, there is a special celebration taking part exclusively in India during the same time.

Oricorio you encounter will be of different Styles depending on where they were caught in the world:

Oricorio (Baile) Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
Oricorio (Pom-Pom) Appearing in the Americas
Oricorio (Pa'u) Appearing in African, Asian, Pacific and Caribbean islands
Oricorio (Sensu) Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region

Festival of Colors Collection Challenge

Complete the Collection Challenge to contribute to your Elite Collector medal, as well as earn 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Oricorio!

A Celebration in India

India Regional Challenge

Friday, March 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time for Trainers in India
Trainers in India will be able to participate in a Regional Challenge!

Once they catch enough Pokémon, they’ll unlock a bonus for all Trainers in India for the remainder of the event!

  • India Regional Challenge: Catch 2,000,000 Pokémon
  • India Regional Challenge Bonus Reward: 2× Catch Candy

Event Box
Until Sunday, March 20, 2022, Trainers in India will be able to pick up a celebratory box for 125 PokéCoins containing a Lucky Egg, a Lure Module, a Rainy Lure Module, and a Mossy Lure Module.
