Baltoy Raid Guide

Baltoy is a Tier-1 Raid Ground and Psychic boss with a raid boss CP of 2656. Baltoy should be an easy solo, even for newer trainers with less than ideal counters.

Baltoy can be caught in the following CP range:

• 409 CP to 449 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
• 512 CP to 562 CP at Level 25, weather boosted

Baltoy is boosted by Sunny and Windy weather. It is available as a shiny from raids, but as a full odds shiny, it will be very rare.

Baltoy evolves into Claydol, which sadly doesn’t have much play in PvE or PvP due to some lacklustre stats. But it is a cool looking Pokémon!

Shadows won’t be listed as they are incredibly expensive to power up, but if you have any of the listed Pokémon as shadows without Frustration, you should use them instead.

There are a lot of Mega Pokémon and Legendaries in the top counters for Baltoy, which is definitely overkill for this little Clay Doll Pokémon, so feel free to reach for the likes of Sceptile, Swampert, Empoleon, Honchkrow, Krabby and Gyarados, or any hard hitting  generalist like Mewtwo. Baltoy has a lot of weaknesses thanks to that dual typing!
