Niantic has just announced Professor Willow Global Research Challenges and Rewards for Pokémon GO Fest events in Chicago, Dortmund and Yokohama. Trainers from around the world will band together once again to complete the Challenges and unlock insane rewards that include increased Candy, XP and Stardust bonuses, as well as special Raid Days featuring shiny Raikou, shiny Entei and shiny Suicune!
If all three teams and the event attendees meet the research goals, a special bonus Raid Day will be unlocked during the bonus week. And if all goals are met by the end of summer, an even more exciting bonus will be unlocked!
Each GO Fest event has its own accompanying Research Challenge that is lead by one of the Team Leaders:

Spark’s Candy Research Challenge

Pokémon GO Fest Chicago will kick off the GO Fest challenges season with Spark’s Candy Research. GO Fest attendees are expected to complete 1 million research tasks from June 13 to June 16, supported by 15 million research tasks coming from every Team. If we manage to complete all of the challenges, shiny Raikou will be available from Pokémon GO raids.
Rewards include 2x Catch Candy, 1 Rare Candy per raid, 1/2 Hatch Distance, 2x Hatch Candy and shiny Raikou raids.
All successfully unlocked bonuses will run from:
- Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 1 p.m. until
- Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.

Candela’s XP Research Challenge
From Thursday, July 4, 2019, at 1 a.m. to Sunday, July 7, 2019, at 9 a.m. PDT (GMT −7), during Pokémon GO Fest 2019 Dortmund
Following up on GO Fest Chicago, Trainers will be able to unlock increased Experience rewards at Pokémon GO Fest Dortmund. The challenges have same requirements (1 million for attendees, 15 million research tasks per team) and the same time constraints (from start to end of the event).
Rewards include 3x Catch XP, 1 Hour Lucky Egg, 3x Hatch XP, 2x Raid XP and shiny Entei raids.
All successfully unlocked bonuses will run from:

- Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT.

Blanche’s Stardust Research Challenge

Finally, Pokémon GO Fest Yokohama brings us Blanche’s Stardust Challenge, topping off the summer season with simply insane rewards. Accordingly, the research requirement is higher for Yokohama than Chicago and Dortmund: 2 million research tasks for attendees and 25 million per team.
Rewards include 3x Catch Stardust, guaranteed 3000 Stardust per raid, 3x Hatch Stardust, 1 Hour Star Pieces and shiny Suicune raids.
All successfully unlocked bonuses will run from:
