Good day, Pokémon trainers! Pokémon GO City Safari: Mexico City will take place from Saturday, November 04, 2023, to Sunday, November 05, 2023, and tickets are available right now! A brand new type of citywide adventure is coming to Pokémon GO, with Pokémon GO City Safari, an all-new in-person event
You’ll find Pokémon themed around Mexican culture and Día de Muertos, the Mexican “Day of the Dead” celebration during these two days.
Also, Skiddo, the pre-evolution of the Grass type Pokémon Gogoat will be available for one of the first times in this year’s Safari Zones, along with its shiny variant-if you’re lucky!

Tickets will cost MX$150 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and can be purchased here.
Trainers can either purchase a ticket for one day of the two-day event or a one-day ticket with an additional second-day add-on. One-day tickets are MX$150 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase on the Pokémon GO City Safari website. You will see “Tickets Available” next to the Pokémon GO City Safari: Mexico City event ticket if it hasn’t sold out yet. Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.
Note: Tickets to this event are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets are first come, first served and are available for purchase while supplies last.
Gameplay Ticket add-ons
In addition to the live events, you will also be able to enhance your event experience with optional add-ons. Ticket add-ons are active for both days of Pokémon GO City Safari: Mexico City—Saturday and Sunday. Trainers with the ticket add-ons will be able to take advantage of the bonuses even on the day that they aren’t taking part in ticketed gameplay.

Enjoy two days of adventure in Mexico City! After selecting either a Saturday or Sunday ticket, Trainers can purchase an add-on for the other day to make the most of their time.
Purchasing a Saturday or Sunday add-on gives Trainers an extra day to enjoy the following bonuses:
- An increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon
- Up to five Special Trades daily within the city
- 1/2 Stardust Cost for trades within the city
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 8 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Restrictions for the Saturday/Sunday add-ons apply. Trainers will only receive the event Special Research once.
Event Information
Ticket-holding Trainers can gear up to assist Professor Willow and Eevee in learning more about the Pokémon appearing during the event. And Eevee seems ready for a big adventure—Trainers will encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the beginning of the City Safari Special Research!
Explore the city with Eevee as your buddy, and there’s no telling what you may discover!
You’ll be able to evolve Eevee to any of their known Eeveelutions with the Explorer Hat, so be sure to collect as many of them as you can! Each evolution requires 50 candies, and some have their own special requirements.
Ticket Holder bonuses
Ticket-holding Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., anywhere in Seoul on their ticketed day:
Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon, will make their debut during the event, and they can be shiny!
Lure Modules (excluding Golden Lures)activated during the event will last four hours
Up to five special trades can be made per day, no matter where you are in Seoul
Trades will require 50% less Stardust
Your buddy may find an exclusive Tiny Compass souvenir.
Wild Spawns
Special Pokémon will appear across the city of New Mexico during the event! Plus, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon! Skiddo will currently only appear during Pokémon GO City Safari 2023 events but may appear worldwide at a later date.

Event-Exclusive Duskull
A special event-exclusive Duskull wearing a cempasúchil flower wreath crown will be available during the event to celebrate Día de Muertos. It will be catchable in the wild and can also be shiny. Don’t miss your chance to catch this exclusive costumed Pokémon!
Shiny Skiddo & Gogoat
It will cost 50 candies to evolve Skiddo into their evolution, Gogoat.
