Porygon Raid Guide

Porygon is a Normal type tier 1 raid boss with a raid boss CP of 5056, and should be soloable for all trainers. It is weak to only Fighting type Pokémon.

Porygon raid capture CPs are:

• 924 – 982 CP (no weather boost, Level 20)
• 1155 – 1228 CP (weather boost, Level 25)Partly Cloudy

Porygon Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.

Porygon weather influence

Cloudy weather would be the best weather to attempt this raid under, as it would boost the power of the super-effective Fighting types moves. The most difficult weathers to attempt this raid under would be Rainy, which would boost the Electric type moves of Porygon, and Partly Cloudy weather, which would boost its more powerful Normal type moves.

Attempting a Porygon under Partly Cloudy weather would be very difficult, as its best move sets include its Normal type moves, making it pretty powerful. Under Rainy weather, however, it should not be too hard to beat it even with its Electric moves if you have good counters and a high enough level.
