Meloetta
The Melody Pokémon is a Special Research quest chain that leads to the discovery of Meloetta in Pokémon GO. The quest line is only available to Ticket holders during Pokémon GO Fest 2021.
Meloetta’s quest line has 11 stages, 3 of which are branching / choice stages. The remaining 8 stages offer no choice. You can choose between encountering Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star, Galarian Zigzagoon or Galarian Ponyta and Flygon or Gardevoir.

Meloetta Special Research Task and Rewards
The Melody Pokémon Step 1
- Earn a heart with your Buddy: x1 Incense
- Use an Incense: x50 PokéBall
- Catch 10 Pokémon: 500 XP
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, x1 Super Incubator, and x50 PokéBall
The Melody Pokémon Step 2
- Rock Star Pikachu Branch Quest
- Pop Star Pikachu Branch Quest
The Melody Pokémon Step 3 Branching Quest
- Hatch an Egg: x25 Great Ball
- Catch 20 Pokémon: x500 Stardust
- Take a Snapshot: 500 XP
- Rewards: x10 Razz Berry, Rock Star/Pop Star Pikachu, and x10 Pinap Berry

- Galarian Zigzagoon Branch Quest
- Galarian Ponyta Branch Quest

- Make 3 Curveball Throws: 500 XP
- Make 3 Nice Throws in a row: x500 Stardust

- Flygon Branch Quest
- Gardevoir Branch Quest

- Take a snapshot: x1 Incense
- Walk 1km: 500 XP
- Use an Incense: x20 Ultra Ball
- Rewards: x500 Stardust, Flygon/Gardevoir, and x3 Rare Candy
The Melody Pokémon Step 8
- Power up Pokémon 3 times: x1 Star Piece
- Evolve 3 Pokémon: x3 Revive
- Defeat 2 TGR Grunts: x3 Hyper Potion
- Rewards: x3 Max Potion, x20 Trapinch Candy/Ralts Candy, and x3 Max Revive
The Melody Pokémon Step 9
- Send 3 Gifts to friends: x30 Great Ball
- Catch 15 different Pokémon species: 1,000 XP
- Earn a heart with your Buddy: x1,000 Stardust
- Rewards: x5 Golden Razz Berry, x1 Incense, and x5 Silver Pinap Berry
The Melody Pokémon Step 10
- Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokémon: 1,000 XP
- Catch 10 Pokémon: x3,000 Stardust
- Earn 5,000 Stardust: 3,000 XP
- Rewards: x1 Lucky Egg, Meloetta, and x1 Star Piece
The Melody Pokémon Step 11
- Take a snapshot of Meloetta: x1 Lure Module
- Transfer 30 Pokémon: x20 Meloetta Candy
- Make a new Friend: x3 Rare Candy
- Rewards: x10 Meloetta Sticker, x1 Avatar Rock Star Pose (Rock Star Pikachu Branch Quest), or x1 Avatar Pop Star Pose (Rock Star Pikachu Branch Quest), and x1 Meloetta Avatar T-Shirt
