Piloswine is a Tier 3 Raid Boss in Pokemon GO with Boss CP of 14546. Best Piloswine counters are strong Steel Pokemon like Metagross, Fire Pokemon like Entei and Moltres and strong Fighting-types like Lucario, Machamp and Hariyama. You can easily solo Piloswine raids even with sub-optimal Level 30 counters.
Piloswine can be caught from raids in the following Combat Power ranges:
- 1271 – 1340 CP (Level 20, no weather Boost)
- 1589 – 1675 CP (Level 25, Snow or Sunny)
Piloswine can be easily defeated by 2 Trainers and can successfully be soloed due to relatively low defense and variety of available counters. Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine.

Piloswine raids are essentially an easier version of Jynx raids, with less threatening moves and a wider variety of counters available at your disposal.
Piloswine has access to following moves:
- Ice Shard Ice (fast)
- Powder Snow Ice (fast)
- Stone Edge Rock (1 bar charged)
- Avalanche Ice (2 bar charged)
- Bulldoze Ground (2 bar charged)
We strongly recommend attempting Piloswine solo raids during Sunny weather, as your counters and only Bulldoze benefits from it. Piloswine is a great addition to any Dragon counter team, so getting a Level 25 Piloswine is a great way to boost your anti-Dragon team. Especially once Mamoswine becomes available.
Fire (especially when ice moves are involved) and Fighting counters are our picks in terms of DPS, but if you’re duoing Piloswine, it’s ok to go with Water-types like Kyogre and Vaporeon.
