Next Season Dates for your Diary!

Pokémon GO trainers! Niantic have shared some of the upcoming Seasons important dates for your diary. While we don’t have more information about the specific details for these events, we’ll share more as soon as we can!

Community Day Dates

Stay tuned for more details about March Community Day and beyond! We sadly don’t have times yet for these Community Day events, but it would be a fairly safe guess that they will run 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time, as that seems to be when Community Day is typically.

One of the Community Days in the coming season could be Litten, as we started off 2024 with Rowlet Community Day, so it would make sense for the next starter Pokémon from the Alola region to follow at some point this year. Litten is a really fantastic shiny, with the whole family having a white theme. We’ll likely also see Popplio feature later in the year to complete the Alola starter set, but I’d suspect that will be in a later season.

Chansey was a fairly unexpected choice, due to the lack of impact on both the raid meta, and PvP meta, so we hope the upcoming choices will have some relevance. We had Porygon Community Day Classic, taking us back to 2020. We’ve speculated on Pokémon we could see feature in 2024 Community Days, and of those predictions, Pikipek would be quite fitting for a spring time Community Day. It has a great shiny family, and birds are often associated with spring.

To continue wildly speculating, we could see some other Pokémon with two evolutions, such as Venipede, Sewaddle, or Tympole. All could fit the time of year quite well!

In terms of a Classic, we’d love to see a return of some of the other starter Pokémon, maybe Chikorita could make a comeback, with the Johto Pokémon featuring in Classics throughout the year?

Other Event Dates

We suspect at least one of these weekend dates will be a raid day, as we seem to have had an abundance of them in recent months. Other than that, we can only speculate!
