Shellder
Shellder Spotlight Hour takes place on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. local time. As is common with Pokémon GO’s Spotlight Hour events, Shellder will spawn in large numbers during the entire event. Shiny Shellder is available in Pokémon GO and is an amazing bright orange!
Trainers will receive 2x Candy for transferring Pokémon, allowing for efficient and speedy storage cleaning. Curiously, catching Shellder rewards 1000 Stardust per catch, 1500 with Star Piece, which makes it worth for Stardust grinding as well.
Shellder is a Water-type Pokémon, and it is boosted by Rainy weather.
Shiny Shellder
While Shellder does not have boosted shiny rates, it is a great shiny that is well worth hunting for if you are still missing it from your collection. Spotlight Hour does not have boosted shiny rates, but you never know!
