Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting May 6th! We are headed into the third and final month of the Season of World of Wonders and have a busy week ahead!
- Celebrate the launch of biomes and the new map, with the Rediscover Kanto event!
- Rivals Week sees Pokémon enemies featured, with regional Pokémon spawning worldwide!
- Hunt for shiny birds in the Flock Together Research Day, with type Pokémon as field research task rewards.
- At the start of each month in the World of Wonders season, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Wonder Ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research, and the introduction of Poipole into Pokémon GO.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 18, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Tapu Fini, and Mega Alakazam in Mega Raids!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Suicune! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Rivals Week
Rivals Week occurs from May 4th to May 9th, bringing with it competing rival Pokémon that are typically regionals, spawning worldwide! With 6 globally available shiny Rivals, there is a lot to look forward during this event. Take this time to farm up on some of these elusive Pokémon, as most of them are not frequently seen outside of events!
Flock Together Research Day
May 11, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m is the Flock Together Research Day, with type Pokémon with boosted shiny odds as field research task encounter rewards! We still don’t have a lot of information about this event, but by the looks of it, we are having shiny Rufflet for dinner!
Diancie Special Research: Glitz and Glam
Diancie makes their global debut in Pokémon GO via a free special research on May 1, 2024! There will also be themed field research with tasks rewarding encounters with Carbink and Mega Diancie Energy. Get your free Mega Diancie by completing the Glitz and Glam Special Research.
World of Wonders: Wonder Ticket
More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.
GO Battle League Season 18
GO Battle League: World of Wonders has started on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). This week, the following GBL Leagues will be active:

Shadow Raids

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted.
Season of World of Wonders
Season of World of Wonders: Bonuses
The following bonuses are specific to Season 14: World of Wonders:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
- One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
- Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids
Season of World of Wonders Research Breakthrough
- From March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool.
Season of World of Wonders Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
