Here’s how to defeat Tier 4 Dartrix that debuts in Pokémon GO Raids after Rowlet Community Day. Dartrix cannot be shiny from Raids, but defeating the boss will trigger Rowlet spawns around the Gym with Community Day shiny odds.
Dartrix can be caught with the following CP values:
- 927 – 985 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
- 1158 – 1232 CP at Level 25 with Windy and Sunny weather boost
Dartrix is a dual Grass and type, with a weakness to Ice, Fire, , Poison and Rock-typed moves. Dartrix will be soloable for the well-prepared high-level trainer, especially if utilising Mega Pokémon. Otherwise, we would recommend a minimum of two trainers for those with less ideal counters.

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
Reminder: Mega-Evolved Pokémon give other Pokémon special bonuses when brought to a Raid Battle. While a Mega-Evolved Pokémon is on the battlefield, all Trainers’ Pokémon receive an attack boost to all their attacks and gain an additional attack boost if their attack types match the Mega-Evolved Pokémon’s type(s).

Dartrix has access to this set of moves as a raid boss:

Your Ice type top counters will be strong against Water and Ground type attacks, so this movepool does not look too scary. Be prepared with a full team of strong counters and you will not find this too difficult.
Weather condition | Pro Attacker | Pro Dartrix |
Sunny/Sunny | Boosts super effective Fire type attacks | Boosts Grass type moves |
Rainy | – | – |
Partly Cloudy | Boosts super effective Rock type attacks | – |
Cloudy | Boosts super effective Poison type attacks | – |
Windy | Boosts super effective | type attacksBoosts | type moves
Snow | Boosts super effective Ice type attacks | – |
Fog | – | – |
The best weather to hit Dartrix is Snow as this will boost your top Ice type counters, however this weather is not around in some countries. After Ice type counters are Fire types which will be boosted by Sunny and Sunny, but bear in mind this will boost Dartrix’s potential Grass moves.
