Swalot is a pure Poison type tier 3 raid boss, with a raid boss CP of 12267. Best Swalot counters are strong Ground and Psychic type Pokémon. Well prepared trainers with good counters will be able solo Swalot, but newer trainers, or those without ideal counters, may want to bring a friend.

The CP ranges of Swalot are as follows:

• 1066 – 1130 (at level 20)
• 1333 – 1413 (at level 25 with Cloudy weather boost)

Ice Beam will hit your Ground type counters hard, the other moves shouldn’t trouble any of your counters too much.

Sadly Swalot doesn’t have much use in Pokémon GO due to it’s stats, it could potentially get some usage as a spice pick in a specific PvP Cup, but that’s about it!
