Weezing

Trainers, Weezing is now available in Tier 3 raids in Pokémon GO with a raid boss CP of 15, 511 and HP of 3600. Soloing Weezing is quite tricky, so lower level trainers and those without ideal counters will want to bring a friend or two.

After the raid, Weezing can be caught with the following CP values 

• 1242 – 1310 CP, at Level 20 with no weather boost 
• 1553 – 1637 CP, at Level 25 with weather boost, during Cloudy weather conditions

Weezing is a Poison type Pokémon from Generation 1. After the conclusion of the raid, the Weezing encountered is not able to appear in its shiny form. 

Weezing Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it. The figures in our database for DPS and TDO are calculated using Level 40 Pokémon with perfect IVs.

Moveset

Watch out for Infestation and Shadow Ball as these moves will deal super effective damage against your Psychic type counters. 

Parting Words

Weezing’s Galarian Form is decent in the Ultra League and some limited-time Great League formats, so it might be useful doing these raids if you still need candy and XL for this Pokémon.
