Candy walk distance is 20km, as expected. Third move is 10k stardust and 100 candies, and it’s not transferable to Pokémon home.

Various settings surrounding the encounter for Necrozma
Base Stats and moves
The base stats for Necrozma are no surprise, and they are quite frankly excellent:
- Base Stamina: 219
- Base Attack: 251
- Base Defense: 195
In terms of moves and movesets, Necrozma is meh at best, and it gets the following moves:
- Quick moves: Confusion and Psycho Cut
- Charge moves: Rock Blast, Power Gem, and Night Slash
No STAB charge moves, and a weird mix of typing makes it quite disappointing in its base form, but luckily it looks amazing in its Ultra Necrozma, and Dusk Mane / Dawn Wings Necrozma forms.

More details for Elite/Exclusive Fusion form Movesets
These were reported earlier, so this is just confirmation of the moves. We also got some more details around Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist beam. Damage of both are set to 1, so that’s interesting. Likely a placeholder.
Sunsteel Strike
- Exclusive to Solgaleo
- It is the signature move of Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma.
- Steel type move with 3.1 second duration in Gyms and Raids, and 45 Energy cost in Trainer Battles
Moongeist Beam
- Exclusive to Lunala
- It is the signature move of Lunala and Dawn Wings Necrozma.
- Ghost type move with 3.1 second duration in Gyms and Raids, and 45 Energy cost in Trainer Battles
Stats for Dawn Wings and Dusk Mane
Both Dawn Wing and Dusk Mane have exactly the same settings and stats, so I just listed them once.

And here is how Fusion is suposed to work…
- Fusing Pokémon, at least Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala will cost 1000 “FUSION_RESOURCE” and 50 Candies for Solgale/Lunala.
- Interestingly, it looks like Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam will become available before the Fusion mechanic is available.
- It is not clear if you will need a Sunsteel Strike Solgaleo / Moongeist Beam Lunala to fuse, or that move will be unlocked when fusing
- We expect it to be a requirement tho
Ultra Necrozma
Ultra Necrozma seems to be treated as a completely separate Pokémon from the fused Necrozma forms, which makes sense to us. Ultra Necrozma has a base attack of 337, and this thing is going to be a beast if Niantic keeps the stats as they are. It is an incredibly strong Pokémon, with undisclosed moves and great potential right now.

You can’t leave a fused Pokémon at the Gym
