Original Stitch and The Pokémon Company are back with their high end shirt collaboration, this time releasing a series of patterns created by artists. These two have partnered together to release bandanas and mask*, as well as aprons, but their most popular item is by far their shirts.
This collab is a first for the Original Stitch designs, with artists of different techniques and methods creating new and unusual patterns. These shirt patterns are really cool, and totally different for traditional Pokémon designs, and I hope we see more of this type of collaboration in the future because just wow! The artists have all really been allowed to use their own unique styles along with the Pokémon designs, and it works. I love them!
Original Stitch and The Pokémon Release
With this release, Pokémon fans can experience their favorite Pokémon through the
eyes of some of today’s most creative artists and illustrators, including Chari,
Chocomoo, Craig&Karl, EMU, and Rob Kidney.
The announcement comes on the heels of recently released fabric designs inspired by the Hoenn region, featuring shirts, masks, bandanas, and aprons from Pokémon Shirts, a customized shirt service from Original Stitch, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company, which first launched in February 2019.
“Thanks to the creativity of Chari, Chocomoo, Craig&Karl, EMU, and Rob Kidney, these specially designed patterns will bring exciting new perspectives to fan-favorite Pokémon,” said Marina Carroll, Marketing Manager at Original Stitch. “These incredibly talented artists make the perfect partners for this collaboration for the Pokémon community to enjoy.”
