Good day, Pokémon Trainers! The European International Championships this year will be taking place in ExCeL London, in the UK very soon starting from April 5 to April 7, 2024. And even if you’re not participating live and in person, there are still many reasons to be excited. Hang around on Twitch, watch the event live with the rest of the community and you can get a special limited-time research that provides various rewards!

How To Get The Pokémon GO Limited Research: General icon

Confused as to how to get the Special Limited Time Research for Pokémon GO? Use the following steps:

  • Join the stream between April 5 to April 7 on Twitch here and here.
  • On the social channel next to the stream a pop-up should appear mentioning the Twitch drops.
  • Click on “Details” on the pop-up and a new page should open showing you how long you have to watch to claim the rewards.
  • You’ll need to have your Pokémon Trainer Club account connected both to Twitch and Pokémon GO.
  • The ability to connect the PTC account to Twitch should be available on the rewards page that you enter through the social channel pop-up.
  • As for Pokémon GO, the option to add your PTC account should be under Settings->Account->Below Linked Accounts. There should be a “Link” button there, where you can login to your PTC account on Pokémon GO.
  • Finally, after watching the stream for the required amount of time a claim button should appear on the Twitch rewards page.
  • It should be smooth sailing from there. Enjoy your rewards!

Conclusion General icon

And there you have it. As someone who really enjoys the official Pokémon GO tournament circuit, I would’ve watched EUIC anyway. But the additional rewards are certainly a nice bonus. This is a Limited Time Research Event you’re getting for free just for tuning in for a while. So do come and hang out if you have the time!

Goodbye for now, Pokémon trainers. Priom-out!
