Phanpy
Phanpy is a Tier 1 raid boss in Pokémon Go and is a part of the Welcome to Alola event, running from March 1st, 10 AM – March 9th, 8 PM, 2022. Phanpy is an adorable little elephant that evolves into the versatile Donphan.
It is also an opportunity for trainers who missed out on the Phanpy shiny in the Johto Tour to catch shiny Phanpy and evolve it into the gorgeous shiny Donphan.
Being a pure Ground type, it is weak to the Grass, Ice and Water types.
Phanpy can be caught with the following CP values:
- 639- 689 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
- 799- 862 CP at Level 25 with Sunny weather boost
Phanpy Raid Counters
Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
