Pokémon Sleep: Latios and the Soul Dew Event

Pokémon Sleep researcher, rtere have been reports that Legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios have been spotted around some areas, including Greengrass Isle! At the same time, there have also been reports of Pokémon having trouble falling asleep due to unstable weather.

According to Professor Neroli, the cause seems to be the dullness of a gem-like orb called Soul Dew, which Latias and Latios have a strong connection to. Your aim is to recover the Soul Dew’s brilliance with Snorlax’s Drowsy Power and the combined strength of Latias and Latios.

Latios Research

This two-week event is a special period where the combined strength of Latias and Latios shine. During the event, Legendary Pokémon Latias, and Latios are more likely to appear, and a bonus will be applied to Drowsy Power if you have Latias, or Latios on your team when you sleep. A larger bonus will be applied to Drowsy Power if you have both Pokémon on your team when you sleep.

You’ll also only be able to get Latios Down from sleep research while the event is going on. You can trade these Latios Down samples via the Event Exchange for new items including Latios Incense, Latias and Latios Biscuits, and Latias Incense.

Furthermore, during the event, the average Drowsy Power of researchers worldwide and your own Drowsy Power will be combined to accumulate Event Drowsy Power. This Event Drowsy Power may be the key to restoring the Soul Dew’s brilliance.

And…it seems Latias and Latios haven’t unlocked their true power yet. If you make good progress during the event, there might be a chance to unlock the power of the bond between the two.

For each species of Special Pokémon, the Nature and sub skills will be identical for the first one befriended by each researcher.

It will appear beginning on June 8th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Pokémon Incense for the new arrival can be used starting from the date and time above.

It can appear at Greengrass Isle, Lapis Lakeside, Amber Canyon, and Greengrass Isle (Expert).

It will have a Dozing Sleep Type

It’s Main Skill is Draco Meteor (Berry Burst). It will get berries that Pokémon on your team (including itself) collect. The more different species of Dragon-type Pokémon on your team, the more Berries it gets. If Latias is on your team, the number of Berries this Pokémon gets increases

  • You can check to see how many you have at the Event Exchange. These won’t go into your bag’s items pocket.
  • You can obtain these only during the event.
  • After the event ends, you can still exchange Pokémon materials until the Event Exchange closes. You will lose any remaining Pokémon materials once the exchange period ends.

How to Get Latios Down

  • Sleep Research in the Event Areas. This is the main way to get Latios Down. You cannot get any during the second sleep research of the day. The number of Latios Down samples you can get depends on the species of Pokémon and the sleep styles you find them in. Dragon-type Pokémon that you research will give you a greater number of samples of Latios Down.
