Two brand new Pokémon have been announced for Pokémon Sleep! Onix and Steelix will make their debut soon, and as we learn more about them we will update this article to let you know their Main Skills, berries, and ingredients.
Onix and Steelix
Onix and Steelix will both be able to appear during your Research. They will be available in the Taupe Hollow Research Area. They are both Slumbering Sleep style Pokémon.
Onix and Steelix will be available during Sleep Research from Tuesday, 14th November, 2023, at 15:00.

To evolve your Onix into Steelix you will need 80 Onix Candy, a Linking Cord and a Metal Coat.
The Metal Coat is not currently available as a reward for any of the Medals, but is available to purchase in the Regular Exchange shop for 1400 Sleep Points. The Linking Cord is also available for 1400 Sleep Points, but is also a reward for obtaining Friendship Level 3 so most researchers will find they have a good collection of them.

Onix and Steelix are Berry Specialist Pokémon, finding 2x Sitrus Berry as Onix, and changing to 2x Belue Berry as Steelix. The Sitrus Berry is one of Taupe Hollow Snorlax’s preferred berries. At present the Belue Berry is not a preferred Berry for any of the islands with set Berry preferences, but may be a random option on Greengrass Isle.
