This morning Android users got Pokemon GO Version 0.33.0 and iPhone users got their Version 1.3.0 updates for Pokemon GO. The new app version is a collection of overall fixes for the problems player had since the launch of the game.
Most importantly, the app is now (almost) completely functional again, with the new type of Poke tracker feature being introduced in game. The tracker now shows Pokemon that are spawned at a nearby PokeStop and the Pokemon that are obtainable from the controversial “rustling grass” on the map.

ANDROID WHAT’S NEW
- Added a dialog to remind Trainers that they should not play while traveling above a certain speed; Trainers will have to indicate they aren’t the driver
- Fixed a bug that prevented ”Nice,” ”Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate XP bonuses
- Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time, so please choose your new nickname wisely
