Pokémon GO Precious Pals (January 2026, event)

The Precious Pals event looks set to be a week of adventure with your Buddy! Enjoy the debut of shiny Fidough, boosted shiny odds for Fidough and Goldeen, limited time evolution requirements and more! Here’s everything you need to know about spawns, bonuses, research, raids and shiny Pokémon during the event.

The following bonuses are active during the Pokémon GO Precious Pals event:

✨Shiny Fidough Debuts

For the first time, Shiny Fidough will be available in Pokémon GO! Plus you’ll have an increased chance to hatch Shiny Fidough. Shiny Fidough is a fantastic chocolate brown, while Dachsbun is a more muted cool brown mix of colours.
