Shadow Raikou features in Pokémon GO during a special Shadow Raid Day event on Saturday, January 2024, 2026. Trainers can look forward to Shadow Raikou in Shadow Raids, with the potential to be shiny (with boosted odds!), and up to five additional free raid passes for the day.

Bonuses

  • Shiny icon Increased chance to encounter shiny Shadow Raikou
  • Raid icon Up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of six).
  • Raid icon The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, January 23, at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PST.

  • 1823 – 1972 CP (no weather boost, 100% Raikou at Level 20)
