Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 19th December we have a lot going on! Part 1 of the Winter Holiday event ends, and Part 2 begins, the Winter Wonderland event occurs, and Hisuian Avalugg raid day!
Winter Holiday Part 1
From December 15 to December 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. local time to 10:00 a.m. local time, the first part of the Winter Holidays event occurs. Mega Glalie makes their debut in game, and shiny Bergmite is released!
Winter Holiday Part 2
From December 23 to December 31, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. local time to 08:00 p.m. local time, the second part of the Winter Holidays event occurs. We’ll announce more information as soon as we have it.
During Part 2 of the Winter Holiday event you’ll be able to make a wish, and choose one of the following extra bonuses:
- 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
Winter Wonderland Event
From December 24 to December 25, 2022, 10:00 a.m. local time to 8:00 p.m. local time the Winter Wonderland event is here. We don’t yet have any information for this event, but will update as soon as we can!
Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day
Avalugg (Hisuian)
On December 24, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. local time to 5:00 p.m. local time Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day will occur, marking their debut in Pokémon GO.
GO Battle League Season 13

GO Battle League: Mythical Wishes will start on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -8)

Spotlight Hour
Tuesday 20th December 6pm till 7pm local time we have Bergmite as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× candy for catching Pokémon.
Raid Hour
Wednesday 21st December 6pm till 7pm local time Cobalion will be appearing in raids for raid hour.
December 2022 Research Breakthrough
Completing Field Research tasks leads to Research Breakthroughs, which now reward Trainers with different items in addition to encounters with a variety of Pokémon. Check out the Research Breakthrough rewards you can look forward to this Season!
- From December 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Galarian Mr. Mime, Delibird, Bagon, Furfrou, Deino and Goomy. For the first time, you are also to encounter shiny Galarian Mr. Mime if you are lucky!
Mega Raids

From December 15 to January 1 Mega Glalie will make their debut in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
Cobalion
From December 15 to December 23 Cobalion will appear in five-star raids.
Kyurem
From December 23 to January 1 Kyurem will appear in five-star raids.
