Season of Timeless Travels
December is the first month of Pokémon GO’s 13th Season, the Season of Timeless Travels, that runs from December 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Timeless Travels focuses on Pokémon first found in the Hisui Region. Read more here.

Vanillite is the December featured Pokémon! Vanillite may appear as a Shiny Pokémon for the first time in Pokémon GO!
Raids
Five Star Raids
During December Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, and Regigigas will be available during different time periods. All four can be Shiny from Raids.

Raid Day: Hisuian Samurott
Hisuian Samurott, the Formidable Pokémon, will make their Pokémon GO debut in Three-star raids! Event runs on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Increased chance to encounter Shiny Hisuian Samurott.
Along the Routes Event
The Along the Routes event introduces a brand new character, Mateo! Beginning on December 4, 2023 (Pacific Standard Time), Trainers can meet Mateo at the end of Routes that they explore and participate in his Gift Exchange with Trainers from all around the world, plus shiny Hisuian Sneasel is released! The event takes place from Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time until Friday, December 8, 2023 at 08:00 PM local time.
Catch Mastery: Ice
Get ready for a seriously snowy Catch Mastery event featuring Ice-type Pokémon, like Snorunt and Bergmite! For the first time in Pokémon GO, you will get the chance to encounter Shiny Cryogonal! On Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time to Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 8:00 PM local time.
Adamant Time Event
The Adamant Time event takes us back to the Kanto region from Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time until Friday, December 15, 2023 at 08:00 PM local time.
December 2023 Community Day
The last Community Day of 2023 will take place over two days — Saturday, December 16, 2023, and Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Throughout the event, Pokémon featured in Community Day events in 2023 will appear more frequently in the wild and as reward encounters for Timed Research.
Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2022 will hatch from Eggs and appear in raids and as reward encounters for Timed Research.
Winter Holidays Event: Part One
Trainers, we are celebrating the holiday season with the first part of the Pokémon GO Winter Holiday 2023 Event! Paldean cutie Cetoddle will be released, new costume Pikachu and Raichu, snow on the in-game map and more! From Monday, December 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time until Monday, December 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time, celebrate the winter season.
Wyrdeer Raid Day
Wyrdeer Raid Day is Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Boosted shiny rates for Wyrdeer feature, with more free raid passes than usual, and the remote raid pass limit increased to 10.
Winter Wonderland Event
The Winter Wonderland event starts Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.and ends Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Make up to five special trades per da, with half trade costs! Plus enjoy a host of collection challenges.
Winter Holiday 2023: Part 2
Part II of Pokémon GO’s Winter Holiday runs from Monday, December 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time to Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 08:00 PM local time.
During that time, Trainers can encounter shiny Vanillite, Holiday costumed version of Psyduck, raid Regigigas and Mega Glalie, and enjoy many of the winter-themed bonuses that started with Winter Holiday Event 2023: Part One.
