Coming this week in Pokémon GO, commencing 26th June, we have the Dark Flames event, GO Battle Weekend: Clay, and the debut of a new Mega Pokémon!
Dark Flames Event
From June 29, 2023 10:00am to July 2, 2023 8:00pm local time the Dark Flames event takes place. Turtonator and Mega Sableye make their debut, and Turtonator can be shiny! Complete timed research and choose between Dark and Fire paths, which will effect what Pokémon your incense is more likely to feature.
GO Battle Weekend: Clay
Date & Time
Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
Bonuses:
- 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 3× Stardust bonus from Master League rotation weeks.)
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include the Clay-Style Hat.
- Paid battle-themed Timed Research* awarding Stardust will be available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). IMPORTANT: Please note that Timed Research expires. To receive the rewards, the tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and the rewards claimed before Sunday, July 2, 2023, 11:59 p.m. local time.
*Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

GO Battle League Season 15
GO Battle League: Hidden Gems will start on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT.
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday June 27th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Doduo as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with a 2× XP forevolving Pokémon.
Raid Hour

Wednesday June 28th 6pm till 7pm local time Nihilego will appear in five-star raids. They can be shiny for the first time!
Mega Raids
Sceptile (Mega)
From June 15 to June 29 Mega Sceptile will appear in Mega Raids.
Sableye (Mega)
From June 29 to July 6 Mega Sableye will make their debut in Mega Raids.
Five Star Raids
Nihilego
From June 15 to June 29 Nihilego will appear in five-star raids and be available as shiny for the first time!
Heatran
From June 29 to July 6 Heatran will appear in five-star raids and it can be shiny.
Shadow Raids
Articuno (Shadow)
Shadow Articuno will appear in Shadow Raids starting June 10th on weekends throughout June. It can be shiny!

Season of Hidden Gems Research Breakthrough
- From June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Beldum, Audino, Furfrou, Noibat and Goomy.
Season of Hidden Gems Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
