Verdant Wonders Event and Zarude Ticket

The Verdant Wonders event has been announced for Pokémon GO, bringing with it the return of Zarude via a special ticket, shiny Flabébé, and costume Cottonee.

Zarude Ticket

For US$7.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to pick up the exclusive Special Research story, Rogue of the Jungle, during the Verdant Wonders event.*

Tickets will be available to purchase this Special Research story leading to an encounter with Zarude from Thursday, Pokémon GO Fest returns! Tickets are now available.

From March 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 25, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time ticket holders will gain access to the Special Research story during the Verdant Wonders event. To receive the Special Research, you must open Pokémon GO at some point between Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and Monday, March 25, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. After you’ve received the Special Research, you can complete it at any time.

Trainers will be able to encounter Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokémon, upon completing the Special Research story!

Other Special Research rewards include the following:

• Six Silver Pinap Berries
• Five Rare Candies
• One Incense
• Various Dark-type and Grass-type Pokémon encounters

And don’t forget—you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Certain restrictions apply. Gifting cannot be completed if the recipient has purchased a Special Research ticket or has been gifted one already.

• Cottonee wearing a flower crown*
• Whimsicott wearing a flower crown*

You can use 50 Cottonee Candy and a Sun Stone to evolve Cottonee wearing a flower crown into Whimsicott wearing a flower crown.

Shiny Flabébé

Shiny Flabébé, in all of it’s colour forms, will make their debut in Pokémon GO! Shiny Flabébé can be somewhat tricky to spot, as the only part of their body that changes colour in the shiny form is the lower part of their body, changing from green to a purpleish blue. Make sure you pay attention!

Floette and Florges become much more noticeable, with the purple becoming the majority of the body by the time you evolve to Florges, beautiful!
