Alolan Graveler Raid Guide

Graveler (Alola)

Alolan Graveler is a three star raid boss in Pokémon GO. The best counters for Alolan Graveler are strong Ground types, as well as Grass Fightingand Water types. It is a Rock and Electric type Pokémon and has a raid boss CP of 14369. It can be caught with the following perfect CPs:

  • 1023 – 1084 CP (raid catch with no weather boost, level 20)
  • 1278 – 1355 CP (raid catch with Partly Cloudy or Rainy weather boost, level 25)

Alolan Graveler can be soloed by a high level trainer with strong counters, but for lower level raiders, or those without optimal counters, we would recommend 2-4 trainers.

Alolan Graveler Counters

Alolan Graveler is double weak to Ground types, which will dominate this counters list. It is also weak to Grass, Fighting and Water types. The table below shows the best Articuno counters:

Donphan Mud Slap Ground Earthquake Ground
Mamoswine Mud Slap Ground Bulldoze Ground

As you can see, Ground types totally dominate, with a lot of accessible options! If you want to mix your team up with more variety, the likes of Mega Blastoise, Mega Venusaur, Lucario, Gastrodon, Torterra, Hippowdon, Conkeldurr and Kyogre all make great counters.

Alolan Graveler Movesets

With a mixture of Rock and Electric type movesets, you may find your strong Water types are quite vulnerable against Alolan Graveler, as it can have an Electric type fast and charge move. If you are soloing, Ground types will be your best option because of the risk of Electric type moves that can take out Water types.

Fast move Charge move
  • Volt Switch Electric
  • Rock Throw Rock
  • Stone Edge Rock
  • Thunderbolt Electric
  • Rock Blast Rock

Stick with those Ground types! Ground types are incredibly useful, and most trainers will find they have some already well powered up because they have so much utilisation in raids. They aren’t weak to any of the potential moves Alolan Graveler has, and the likes of Golem, Donphan and Mamoswine are all fairly accessible, with Rhyperior and Mamoswine both having had a community day that armed us well against this spiky eyebrowed beast.
