Blitzle Raid Guide

Blitzle

Blitzle is now available in Tier 1 raids in Pokémon GO and you should have no problem taking it down as it is a very easy raid boss to defeat. 

After the raid, Blitzle can be caught with the following CP values 

• 461 – 504 CP, at Level 20 with no weather boost 
• 577 – 630 CP, at Level 25 with weather boost, during Rainy weather conditions

Blitzle is a pure Electric type Pokémon, and also has a shiny variant in the game so it can be encountered shiny after a raid battle. It is a full odds shiny–1/500. 

Blitzle Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it. The figures in our database for DPS and TDO are calculated using Level 40 Pokémon with perfect IVs.

Blitzle as a Tier 1 raid boss and has a CP of only 2895, so any generalist Pokémon should be fine while taking it down in raids.

Moveset

Unfortunately, Blitzle and its evolution Zebstrika have no use in either PVP or as raid counters. But it does have a nice and rare shiny, so it might be worth using your free daily raid pass if you see a Blitzle raid around you, but there is absolutely no need to go out and grind these raids as it is a full odds shiny.
