Drowzee is now available in Tier 1 raids in Pokémon GO and you should have no problem taking it down as it is a very easy raid boss to defeat. 

After the raid, Drowzee can be caught with the following CP values 

• 548 – 594 CP, at Level 20 with no weather boost 
• 684 – 743 CP, at Level 25 with weather boost, during Windy weather conditions

Drowzee is a pure Psychic type Pokémon. Drowzee has a shiny variant in the game so it can be encountered shiny after a raid battle. It is a full odds shiny–1/500. 

Drowzee Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it. The figures in our database for DPS and TDO are calculated using Level 40 Pokémon with perfect IVs.

Drowzee as a Tier 1 raid boss, has a CP of 3130, so any generalist Pokémon should be fine while taking down Drowzee.

Moveset

Drowzee’s evolution Hypno is a decent Pokémon for the Great League, and very good in some limited metas like the Single-type Cup so it might be useful to collect candy for this Pokémon via Drowzee raids.
