Empoleon can be caught with the following Combat Power after being defeated in Raids:
- From 1581 CP to 1657 CP, with no weather boost
- From 1976 CP with 2072 CP with Rainy or Snow weather boost
Empoleon is the only Water and Steel type Pokémon in the franchise, making it weak to Electric, Fighting, and Ground type moves.
