Hisuian Qwilfish Raid Guide

Posted in

Hisuian Qwilfish is now available in Tier 1 raids in Pokémon GO and you should have no problem taking it down as it is an easy raid boss to defeat.

After the raid, Hisuian Qwilfish can be caught with the following CP values

  • 1115 – 1220 CP, at Level 20 with no weather boost
  • 144- 1526 CP, at Level 25 with weather boost, during Fog and Cloudy weather conditions

Hisuian Qwilfish is a Dark and Poison type Pokémon. But unfortunately, it doesn’t have its shiny released into Pokémon GO yet, only being introduced to the game last year.

Hisuian Qwilfish Counters

Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it. The figures in our database for DPS and TDO are calculated using Level 40 Pokémon with perfect IVs.

The best counters for Hisuian Qwilfish are the following:

Hisuian Qwilfish is such a low CP, and easy raid boss to take down that you should be fine even if you don’t have any of its top counters powered up. Any generalist Pokémon should be fine when taking down this raid boss.

Stats and Max CP

Qwilfish (Hisuian) DarkPoison
Max CP at Level 40 2136 | Max CP at Level 50 2415
ATK 184 DEF 151 HP 163
Weak To: Strong Against:
Ground Psychic, Ghost, Grass, Poison, Dark

Moveset

Fast Moves Charged Moves
Poison Sting Poison Sludge Bomb Poison
Poison Jab Poison Ice Beam Ice
  Shadow Ball Ghost
  Dark Pulse Dark
  Aqua Tail Water

If the Qwilfish you are battling against has Ice Beam or Aqua Tail, your Ground types won’t appreciate it. But you should be fine taking it down even if it has those moves, with your party of 6.

And that’s all, Good luck with your raids and until next time, trainers!
